A decent window if so, but a lack of depth when it comes to covering/competing with Matusiwa. Feel like we one more CM in.
Also not sure about trying to get through the half of the season with Baggott as fourth choice CB. He should be out on loan and Caceres in. And if we complain about lack of finances, the signing of McAteer is the most baffling of them all. And then putting ourselves in a position where we have to sell Woolfenden for the third of the price for O'Shea, without add ons.

I'm ok about Baggott. The boy is almost 23 and has looked good when fit. It'd take two or three significant injuries for him to be needed in any case. Am very much with you on the cover for Matusiwa's position though, and let's see how hard Azon can push Hirst up top. | |

I'm slightly concerned by Woolf going with no senior replacement. Feels like we're hoping we don't get a CB injury to one of the main three. Furlong out of position is a gamble. Baggott also a gamble although if McKenna thinks he's good enough... |  |

Another one? We’ve already got Hirst, Azon and Akpom as recognised strikers. Even if Akpom is used as a 10, he’s played a lot of his career as a striker. Plus some of the 10s could fill in an emergency. |  |
