You have no idea of my politics so why are you making stupid assumptions because I have a different view to you? You really don’t have to feel sorry for me I’m old enough to make my own mind up over all sorts of things🙄 You still can’t get your head around the fact people can live with legal immigrants coming here to contribute to the system can you? It’s the illegal influx that even this government has finally admitted is the problem but hay ho live in your own little bubble👍 |
If you really think that little Tommy and friends are only concerned about immigrants on boats you're in for a surprise!

No answer to the question then? As you know asylum seekers are not "illegal". Nobody ever mentions the white illegals, from countries like Australia, who overstay their visas. I wonder why.

This Unite the Kingdom march on 12:08 - Sep 14 with 1065 views | noggin | Something I haven't seen mentioned but is quite concerning. There appeared to be church clergymen (were they real?) on the march yesterday, where self proclaimed white supremacists were invited to speak. The KKK would have been proud. This Unite the Kingdom march on 12:20 - Sep 14 with 984 views | Mullet | Interesting thread from Clive Lewis. I admit he’s got an axe to grind with the bigwigs in Labour and Keir et al. But it’s interesting nonetheless that the far right core around SYL are being legitimised. The lies about millions only seek to help push against the 110-150k figures, anyone who thinks that SYL and his backers claiming 1 in 23 of the entire population was there, isn’t going to be high on critical thinking. However, this is where populism snowballs when people like this are helping insulate the far right because they connect with something they want to hear. Thats the most worrying thing, and why the flag stuff was so important. It’s a vanilla step towards the more racist and hateful messaging.

Do you not understand that people of any colour, race, religious persuasion, sex, etc., can hold abhorrent views? These protests are founded in racism. The organiser is a far right serial criminal with a history of stirring up racial tension. They invited Musk and Bannon who both have literally been pictured throwing Nazi salutes and Musk promotes racist remigration ideas and the Great Replacement conspiracy on his X platform. This is a movement founded in racism by racists and is being promoted by racists. As I’ve said before, it doesn’t automatically make those attending racists but they do need to be honest about what they are supporting. [Post edited 14 Sep 12:28]

Both should be banned and they should f**k off and march in the areas they live and let us London'ers have the police to police crimes in London. |
Move Parliament to the midlands then.

This Unite the Kingdom march on 10:22 - Sep 14 by BrentwoodBlagger2 | Okay - I went there as an observer (not a supporter of either march) with two others (one retired Police Officer and the other was a Journalist) yesterday. We stayed inside a building in Stamford Street, SE1 yesterday and watched for 3 hours as the 20 person wide march passed our building at a fast walking pace. It was still passing when we left to go to the Trafalgar Square area 3 hours later and the rear of the march was still at Waterloo. The numbers were way more than the 150k reported and consisted of men, women, children and mixed ethnicity groups including Maori's. There was a Bishop, priests, people in wheelchairs and a real diverse mix (not all shaven headed, heavily tattooed thugs with broken noses as reported in The Mail). Near Trafalgar Square I saw large groups from both main march's break away from the minimal Police escorts and confrontations occurred. Police then belatedly attempted to separate the groups - small groups from both sides were causing the problems. The Anti-Racists/Antifa faction that broke away were mainly masked and were hostile and so were the non-masked faction from Robinson's march. It was a lot of shouting, pushing and some objects were thrown. It was then all over after some arrests from both sides. Police failed to properly control both march's and the flashpoint's then occurred. I've seen worse trouble at Portman Road! [Post edited 14 Sep 10:23]

Hmm A bishop and priests? How very Christian to join a March where the guest speaker calls for the overthrow of a democratically elected govt. And organised by a racist thug. And Maoris? WTF. Why am I sceptical of the neutrality of your observations

Of course. But many on here seem to be so blind that they believe these events are only attended by violent shaven headed pissed blokes. Pathetic really. Me personally, I find it fantastic when you see different nationalities and religions proud/loving the country of which they live. So too see that on show yesterday was pretty decent, and makes a mockery of the blue haired drips screaming nazi at everyone

You’ve made-up the content in your second paragraph. If someone attends in support of a far right event, organised by a far right sympathiser, and with far right speakers then that person is a racist.

This is the key thing here really for me. The march was organised by a racist - that isn’t up for debate. Even if hypothetically not everyone going agreed with him, why would you go? Why would you risk being associated with him? It would be like going to a Hitler rally because you are proud of the German countryside.

Fwiw, I think there are a lot of people around who feel let down by our leaders. We’ve been living through times of corporate greed and spectacular wealth accumulation by a few, whereas many people have seen their pay packets barely move or even shrink. They’re disillusioned and are vulnerable to being exploited by liars like Trump, Farage or Musk who have been working so hard to keep people down, ironically. Brexit being the perfect example and this is no different. It’s not a few asylum seekers arriving on boats that has led to standards of living falling. But if they are genuinely angry at their lot, I don’t see how attending a far right rally founded on racism addresses their concerns either. So yeh, very much naturalists at a Nazi rally. So they’re not necessarily racists, but they could be gullible or just not give a crap anymore and want to feel part of something, whatever it is.

I dunno, I think he is being very generous to his mate. This was a march arranged by SYL who is a racist criminal. People need to take personal responsibility for their actions and see the danger of giving SYL any credibility

It is remarkable the effect of proscribing a group as a terrorist group has. It is rather like measuring the rate of crime amongst people who enter the country illegally. Amazingly, 100% are breaking the law.

Please do explain what those who were there who were not racists were trying to achieve. Is it an aim to establish a more united and tolerant society where differences in religion, skin colour, lifestyle, etc is respected? Why doesn't it come across like that if that is the aim? EDIT: Please, anyone who supports this cause feel free to chip in. I am genuinely interested to know. [Post edited 14 Sep 15:51]
