This is amazing.

Mate of mine's dad had his car broken into yesterday and his set of golf clubs stolen, in Tring, Hertfordshire. He informs the police but doesn't expect much to happen or to ever see them again.

Later he gets a call from the police to tell him a man has collapsed walking from Tring to Berkhamstead... carrying a set of golf clubs. The police have looked inside the golf bag and found her dad's name and address there! Don't know any more details yet, but if it turns out its the long walk/weight of the bag that caused him to collapse, that's some amazing instant karma right there.

Anyone else have any stories of instant karma?

UPDATE: The guy is ok... and they're saying that the walk/weight of the clubs DID contribute to him collapsing!

An acquaintance of mine in Bury, mid-80s, was heavily into alternative lifestyles and substances. In order to fund said lifetyle he decided to rob the petrol station on Rougham Rd (I think), pausing only to nick a moped to get there. Got pulled over for no lights :-)

Fair play to him to hitting it that hard at his age.

Bit silly if he stole golf clubs and then walked, surely he should have used the driver?

Or rather than walking all that way he should've stayed putt.

Doing one of my waterbird checks, come across a small kid throwing little stones at a flock of swans / geese; no sign of parents, but then spot a woman nearby who was engrossed in her phone and guess it was probably his mum.

Anyway, she finally looks up, sees what he's doing, and went to get him; goes to grab him by the hand, not realising the kid had run out of little stones and picked up a handful of swan sh1t instead which ended up squashed into both their hands.

Seen kids trying to kick the birds too, not realising that the algae by the side of the lake is slippery, so end up going for a little swim with them.

Perhaps that's why she gets so paranoid about people throwing empty beer cans at her car?
