Any chance Mckenna might 14:45 - Sep 28 with 1133 views | ArnieM | Go with a 3 man midfield at some point this seasin guys? Nunez is simply far too good to be just coming off the bench, and he'd offer a scary dead-ball option too! Thoughts....?

Cajuste can't do more than 60 minutes... if that. Not sure Nunez is a 90 minute man. Think Cajuste/Nunez interchanging is the best way. I'm a bit concerned how reliant we've become on Matusiwa...we need him fit for pretty much 40+ games. As for deviating from 2 CMs .... isn't it better we keep on continuing with the plan? Improve step by step. We've bought players just for this formation... be crazy to deviate now we've got things moving.
Any chance Mckenna might on 15:29 - Sep 28 with 844 views | NthQldITFC | I doubt it, unless it's in preparation for a fundamental change with the Premier League in mind. We don't need to adapt our game for anyone in this division, we can impose our preferred system (with minor tinkering) on anybody.

Any chance Mckenna might on 16:09 - Sep 28 with 687 views | Nutkins_Return | This won't be any sort of issue at all because both will play loads of minutes. Nunez will start in Tuesday. Cajuste won't do many if any Sat, Tuesday, Saturday starts. Nunez isn't super robust either so it is pretty ideal for their workloads that the interchange a bit and this will be good for them in keeping them fit. In the Prem it's not of an issue but over a 46 game champ season they will play loads whatever.

Any chance Mckenna might on 16:13 - Sep 28 with 662 views | WolfieAtTheBack | I would like to see Nunez and Matisuwa in the midfield and Cajuste at the 10 for a few matches. We basically have a lot of very good players in all positions. Not a bad thing. Must also all remember Akpom is available too.

Wasn't really about being outmuscled he just thought he had half hour with the ball Very similar to Azor on his debut. Haven't really seen it since, so can see KM pointing it out very quickly.

Well I'd be back in for Morsy tbh ... offer him a 2 yr deal. We have Taylor ( I know) and young Humphreys

Any chance Mckenna might on 17:57 - Sep 28 with 313 views | FelixBlue4 | My take on this is no. I think we now have a much improved squad that’s almost ready to have another go in the Premier League. Most of the loans are with options and we have improved the first 11 and a much stronger bench which we missed last season. Meaning promotion or not we won’t need much of a change in the summer like the last 2 summers have been so less time needed to adjust.
Any chance Mckenna might on 18:07 - Sep 28 with 260 views | Swansea_Blue | It’s a no brainer for me. We were at our best when Chappers linked play and arrived in the box lake. Akpom and Sammie want to be playing off the shoulder of the defender. I think a base of Cajuste and Matusiwa with Nuñez ahead of the given a licence to roam would be very effective.

I don't think its about catering for opposition in this league, its more about utilising very good players we have in that position. All 3 have different strengths and would compliment eachother well. Watching us last season it was crying out for a 3 in there while we were getting overrun so I'd personally like to see us try it from time to time.
Any chance Mckenna might on 18:39 - Sep 28 with 138 views | MK1 | Should have switch to a 4-3-3 last season. If he didn't then, no chance he will now.

I really don't get this view that Cajuste's can only play an hour (and it seems to come around fairly regularly). He does have a knee issue that needs management in training but last season in the Prem in games he started: <60 - 1 61-70 - 6 71-80 - 10 81+ - 7 Given the fact that Morsy was very rarely subbed as Captain it was inevitable that in most games we'd sub out a CM to get some fresh legs on. So far this season for his starts: 63, 74, 78 and the 63 games was Sheff Utd where we were comfortably 3-0 up and it was a good opportunity to give Nunez some more minutes as he gets up to full match fitness.
