Having said that Junior and a girlfriend are training it to Blackburn tonight of their own freecwill and plan to get hammered so apologies in advance to anyone stood near them. | |

I had hoped to buy a ticket but bizarrely it is not possible to get a train back after the game from Blackburn to Liverpool, where I would have stayed with my mother-in-law.
On a similar theme, I didn't go to the Hull game because my son, who lives in Leeds, couldn't get a train back after the game, and I didn't really fancy going on my own.
No wonder those up north complain about public transport.

The train situation is crazy. The only games I've managed by train over the years are Newcastle and Sunderland.
Getting a train to Blackburn is no problem but the train getting bak stops somewhere near Preston at 11pm and the connecting train to Glasgow is seven in the morning. | |

Huge game. Players and manager need to step up now, a loss and fan base will get further toxic. A win tonight and strong performance Saturday will be a good reset.

I remember (probably as you felt after the Oxford game) the end of the Bristol Rovers away game in League One, standing next to some toxic town fans berating Morsy (they’d abused the subs all game) after that drab 0-0, with promotion seemingly slipping away… and vowing to never go away again! The forest rovers home and MK Dons Morsy goal wins followed, and that jubilant large away end - which I was in.
Then we never looked back… and what a run.
From the deepest lows come the greatest highs… do it! See you in the Fernhurst!
