oh god the doom mongers will be out in force assuming that KMK has zero loyalty to the project. And why would he go somewhere where their existing manager has left because of being controlled

IF they wanted McKenna he'd be an idiot not to take it, lets be honest. As disappointing as it would be he would leave with my best wishes and thanks for his efforts with us. I'm not sure he'll be top of their list though.

Can’t see Man Utd going for McKenna.

Not a big enough name for the shareholders and last season halted his momentum in the eyes of other clubs and fans.

But if Glasner were to get the job, I’d be nervous.

Likewise if West Ham were to sack Nuno.

….to get this one right.

Can’t see them taking any sort of risk, but as you say if he was offered it he’d be out of here in a heartbeat.

I thought Amorim was doing OK tbh, certainly with the squad they've got. A good chance of top 4 and playing a lot better than they were before he arrived. Must be Woolfy political rather than football related.

…re Palace and West Ham, although I doubt West Ham would pay the money.

Palace definite potential and I can see MU looking at Glasner.

Why would he and how do you know that? He's been loyal before, has the trust and respect of the owners and on the verge of a return to the PL. Man Utd on the other hand......... car crash just like Chelsea

Agree with this regarding Palace, if United were to go for Glasner then can see them coming in for McKenna again like a couple of years ago.

Hopefully they go after someone that doesn't have a knock on (e.g. Southgate but can't see that happening)

It won't be for the money. Let's be honest United is clearly a basket case currently, same as Chelsea. They want long term project achieved in 12 months, constant chopping and changing players and coaches. If i was Mckenna I'd like to think I will be staying, get another promotion on the CV (and perhaps finishing 1st isn't so unlikely now), stay up in the Premier league, United will be back again for him if he achieves that as they will be sacking every couple of years at most for the foreseeable future

McKenna will listen to any offers although not suggesting he will jump ship. He listened to other offers and stayed here while keeping the door ajar for a move later in his career.

Long live thr project.

Forgive me, but it seems the perfect time for your man to go: up there in the league again, pre-next season's Prem kicking.

What would he be staying for though? If the United job was there for him today I don't know why you wouldn't take it now if the rationale is to hope to get a chance again in a couple of years, that just doesn't really make any sense to me. The fickle nature of football management won't change any time soon.

If you're offered the opportunity to manage Manchester United you don't turn it down to stay with Championship Ipswich, that's for the birds.

(i truly thought we were on to something - maybe we still are, but those two losses hurt)

Man U get Glasner, Palace get your guy - he'd jump at it: half a season + summer to get his feet under the table with no danger of relegation. I wonder who you get to replace him? No nicking our man!
