It won't be for the money. Let's be honest United is clearly a basket case currently, same as Chelsea. They want long term project achieved in 12 months, constant chopping and changing players and coaches. If i was Mckenna I'd like to think I will be staying, get another promotion on the CV (and perhaps finishing 1st isn't so unlikely now), stay up in the Premier league, United will be back again for him if he achieves that as they will be sacking every couple of years at most for the foreseeable future | | | |

What would he be staying for though? If the United job was there for him today I don't know why you wouldn't take it now if the rationale is to hope to get a chance again in a couple of years, that just doesn't really make any sense to me. The fickle nature of football management won't change any time soon.
