I'm afraid this doesn't really make sense.
If he's good enough to help get us promoted (which he is in my view and I've mentioned him a few times as a possible target) then the extra expensive is almost irrelevant given the riches achieved by promotion.
If he's available and we can afford him we should get him.
It's a dubious link though so I'm not going to get excited at the moment.

The only thing that makes me wonder if it could happen is Watford's signing of Edoardo Bove a couple of days ago. Looks to me like a younger version of Louza, signed on a 5.5 year deal...
If Louza has said he won't sign new terms, they may be prepared to cash in this month?

I don't get the strong reaction to idle speculation/outright nonsense during transfer windows.
The thought that we were linked to Batistuta still makes me happy and the fact that we snatched Jaden Philogene from under Barca's nose is just brilliant.
