| Top 3 signings of Gamechanger era on 20:02 - Feb 8 by Kievthegreat | You say "Expensive", but he was essentially -£10m. Same with Delap. If value for money is part of the equation,, it's worth baring in mind their overall cost rather than just the initial fee. Also I'm not sure we can talk about £65k for Burns to be middle tier, when the cheap tier is freebies and the top tier is £20m+ signings. Burns has to be in the cheap tier, Davis and Moray probably should be too. |
Also we just about doubled our money with Hutch, so if we're taking into account net cost he still wins.

Looks a bargain on first viewings though. In not real order... Morsy Wes Chaplin Hirst Broadhead Luongo Leif Walton Omari Delap Azor Dara

Morsy - Wes and Chaplin / without them we would not have been promoted Not just once but twice allowing all others that came later to be subsequently purchased or loaned in. Morsey I think has been the most influential signing since Marcus Stewart. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

| Top 3 signings of Gamechanger era on 22:20 - Feb 8 with 607 views | Churchman | 1. Morsy 2. Davis 3. Chaplin. Honourable mentions for Hirst (I know he’s top of the haters list but both promotions might not of happened without him), Broadhead (smashing player), Burns (watch him in the flesh and you realise just how good a player he is. Better than what you see on the box) Of the signings of the last couple of years, Clarke, Philogene, Matusiwa. Top top players. I have only seen Mehmeti live at home and on tv for yesterday - boy, is he good. He might just make all the difference. Thumbs up for Nunez (terrific player) O’Shea (doesn’t deserve the abuse he gets) and a shout out to Walton. He’s a very good keeper and playing week in week out behind a good back four was just what he needed. Ok I cheated on the title a bit. Apols. | | | |
| Top 3 signings of Gamechanger era on 22:21 - Feb 8 with 605 views | Smoresy | Painful whittling down to three! Delap wouldn't be on my shortlist because he didn't come close to keeping us up. Harsh, no single player would have! But then I consider the profit, maybe £10m, and that pales in comparison to the financial riches secured by those before him, even if I pretend experiences don't matter (yet those two years were precious). Morsy 👑 Davis - what he did in 23/24 was astonishing and he remains so important today. I'm sure we could have realised a club record profit on him in previous windows if we'd wanted to. Luongo - without him I firmly believe we'd have seen the playoffs in 22/23, then who knows what partnership would have been found for the following year. A free signing and the literal perfect partner for the man at the top, our Australian 👑. Sorry to Chappers, Big Burge, Wes and Broadbean. Not sorry to Omari but he was the other on my list. Hirst misses out because of his 23/24 injury and struggles this year, but would complete my top ten alongside Matusiwa. | | | |

| Top 3 signings of Gamechanger era on 19:05 - Feb 8 by FrimleyBlue | Azor has to be in there for possibly the best signing in the past 30 years. |
Delusion at its finest. Or you don't understand how long ago 30 years is. We finished 5th in the Premier League in 2000/01 season......! I'd say a lot of them are better than Azor as a signing.....! Even Delap and Hutchinson very recently. He's good, but he's not THAT good!
| Top 3 signings of Gamechanger era on 22:47 - Feb 8 with 572 views | cressi | Without Morsy we wouldn't have got out of league one. What a partnership with Lungo Then has to be Burns 1st player signed and still here. The new crop of players now have to build their own legacy. | | | |

Better than Marcus Stewart or Matt Holland? No. Not until he has done it in the Premier League. Let's notch it down to the last 20 years! Then rank him against Sam Morsy, Leif Davis, Tyrone Mings (hard to beat on value and profit achieved!) Conor Chaplin, Aaron Cresswell, Axel Tuanzebe, Omari Hutchinson, Liam Delap and Wes Burns.
