Do you really think we are missing energy and hussle up top? My view is we have that in abundance, and frankly that is not Bamford’s strong suit. Surely what we are missing is guile, composure, confidence and accuracy, and that is precisely what Bamford has.

Yes I do. Hirst used to give defenders a really hard time like Bramford did last night. That hustle has gone from his game right now. I don’t think Azon brings that either. The undoubtedly have other qualities but I don’t see either of them harrying defenders like Bamford did last night.

I'm not sure 'energy and hustle' represents Bamford in the slightest. He's very clever and streetwise and makes things happen by making very good decisions about how and when to challenge defenders and he's very good on the ball, so overall he's great, but he's certainly not an energy and hustle type player.

I'm in that camp, it'd definitely not effort or workrate for Hirst or Azon, it's composure when presented with chances

Bamford has good movement, touch and finishing and he is big enough to occupy defenders but isn't going press and make a nuissance of himself in the same way

Bamford would be useful now. But should we achieve Premier status we would have Hirst, Akpom who I believe we would have to pay £7 for and Bamford. Azon I am not sure what the position is with him.
Bamford got an 18 month contract, he was surplus to the needs of Leeds so if they didn't think he was good enough why should we.
Three strikers costing a lot of money to keep and none prolific. Not what is wanted in the Prem I'm afraid.
