Then what on earth was he looking at? Should have gone to Specsavers. Awful refereeing.

| John Bubsy claims he didn’t see the foul… on 18:18 - Mar 7 with 2487 views | StokieBlue | He's literally looking at it. Clearly he thought that was the best defence but with so many cameras out there it was going to be captured by someone. SB | | | |
| John Bubsy claims he didn’t see the foul… on 18:20 - Mar 7 with 2436 views | Herbivore | If he didn't see something he's clearly looking straight at then he needs to quit being a ref and he needs fairly urgent medical attention because there's obviously something very wrong with his eyes. Incredible that he could see fouls that nobody else saw when they weren't in the box (and usually when they involved a Leicester player going down) but then his eyes stopped working when he was looking at clear fouls in the box. | |

| John Bubsy claims he didn’t see the foul… on 18:24 - Mar 7 with 2329 views | IP1Blue | Definitely a pen, no doubt But You’ve got to take your chances, don’t rely on EFL referees to get you out of trouble because we all know what they are! A poor first half, not taking our chances and not making the most out of our set pieces cost us the game. Yes, a spirited second half performance but we have to take it out of the referees hands! Furlong did it a couple of weeks ago and we got away with it. | | | |

The thing is you have 90 minutes to score goals and then additional time added on for time wasted/ not played at the end. Generally i would think its accepted that to score then getting into good positions in the opposition box increases the chances of that happening in any of those minutes.. and there are sanctions ( ie a penalty) for any illegal prevention of attacking play. Just because it happens in the last minute of additional time should not make any more or less likely to be awarded. I feel the same injustice today as i did when Chappers wasfouled by the same team last season and that was earlier in the game but still in the end meant we drew a game we should have won!
| John Bubsy claims he didn’t see the foul… on 01:35 - Mar 8 with 1465 views | FrimleyBlue | A major efl error imo If an official is escorted off the field only a month or so ago then he should not officiate again at the same place until the following season. Theres no chance he went into today's game with 0 bias. | |

| John Bubsy claims he didn’t see the foul… on 02:26 - Mar 8 with 1432 views | quirkie | Give it a rest. We should have battered Leicester into next January. If it was the other way around, us struggling for survival and Leicester going for promotion they would have won that 6-0. We are weak in games like this and I fear we will mess up the play offs because of this. McKenna will go in the summer and we got to get someone in decent unless we want another 20 years in the wilderness. | |

Why don’t you give it a rest? Berk. A lying cheating ref to have the nerve to say he didn’t see it when there’s multiple pictures showing him staring right at it. The EFL should never have assigned him to our game having seen his performance here a few weeks back. [Post edited 8 Mar 12:49]

| John Bubsy claims he didn’t see the foul… on 07:45 - Mar 8 with 1231 views | OldFart71 | We had 99 minutes to score two goals against a bottom three side. But it seems unless we get an early goal we struggle. I personally couldn't see how the ref or officials only added 1 minute on the first half and according to the ref there were endless fouls committed by both sides. It also cannot be excused to not see a clear penalty. But the referees in this league know there's no VAR so they know they can make poor decisions and get away with them although I am no advocate of VAR. Over the years of watching football I have seen it all from poor to bent referees, This particular one seems to have some problem with us as a team as he has made bad decisions before. When he said he didn't see the foul he also has another official running the line. Where was he also ? | | | |

You'll be shocked when you have a look at how Middlesbrough got on at home to Leicester a couple of weeks ago. Looked like a much closer game than yesterday too.

I'd add that O Shea had the chances to score a hat trick with his head, and didn't get a single one of them right [Post edited 8 Mar 13:04]

But he didn't say he was sceptical. He said he didn't outright see it.
