| The curious case of Jen’s Cajuste on 21:26 - Apr 6 with 3362 views | portmanking | Absolutely not. You either play Nunez as the guy to keep us ticking (which I favour) and let Neil sit more, or put Jack in and let him go box-to-box with Neil sitting. Mind you, if it's a dead leg, hopefully he'll shrug it off by Thurs/Fri. | | | |

| The curious case of Jen’s Cajuste on 21:31 - Apr 6 with 3218 views | Nthsuffolkblue | As per the other replies, there is a reason why Cajuste hasn't had a lot of minutes. McKenna will play the strongest team that is most likely to get the result. | |

| The curious case of Jen’s Cajuste on 21:33 - Apr 6 with 3212 views | LankHenners | That he's only made it off the bench once in the last 6 matches tells you a) where his fitness levels are and b) where he sits in McKenna's plans. Best to go with Neil and Nunez imo and hope the latter doesn't get carried away with the occasion. | |

Nunez get carried away with it? In what way? He is a play maker not a tough-tackling ball winner. I am really looking forward to seeing him open them up in a man of the match performance.

Can't imagine it would be Neil and Nunez. It'll be Matusiwa/Taylor.

I went on the Oink ‘Un earlier today - first time in months. The Neanderthals over there are calling for harm to be done to Nunez if he plays. Still firmly in their heads, but also a bunch of thugs with no respect for the game.

That's their fans not their players, though. I am sure they will have said the same before the home game. Instead he had the last laugh and paraded a big mock-up cheque from Chris Reevo too didn't he? I am sure Nunez will know exactly what to expect and exactly who from too. He shared a dressing room with most of them not that long ago.

Yes of course it’s the fans. No self respecting professional player would say those things, or be posting on the Oink ‘Un. As I said, still very much in their heads.

You should have got Madge to give it a rub (ooh err) after the game. You'd have been as right as rain the next day.

Could be right, but equally I think there will be an appearance clause in that contract.

Unless there is an appearance get out clause included we dont know about, it's a nice problem to have for £4.5m He'd make a decent squad player (although not on this seasons evidence I guess?) or at the very worst case scenario we move him out on loan/permanent somewhere else. Same for Akpom. They haven't pulled up any trees unfortunately, but they've added depth to the squad. And we quite cleverly aren't on the hook for anything should we fail to go up, they were both quite nicely structured deals for us with little risk.

13 starts, 16 subs.. stuck on 29 for some time. Read that as you will.

Which is a shame, given what a lovely player he can be to watch It's mad to think he was basically the alternative to Hackney, who would we have signed instead, would we have got Egeli or McAteer as a result?

I wonder if there is a clause if he gets to 30?

A wild guess but he may be rehabilitating. Knee injuries are tricky. The physios may have him on a special long term strengthening program, ready to have him fully fit next season. He has the skills, we have all seen him before he fades. He would be fantastic if he had strength and stamina as well as the skill.

I know he's not a 10 but I'm surprised we didn't throw him in there to supplement the midfield when we were experimenting with that role Defensively he isn't great but going forward, he clearly has some quality It's mad we may have to sign him and Akpom if we go up

| The curious case of Jen’s Cajuste on 12:38 - Apr 7 with 1005 views | Sharkey | He was in the Sweden squad for the Euros on 2020, and has played 25 internationals since then. He's now 26, and should really be approaching his prime and at least be in contention for a place in the the World Cup squad. Sweden have some flashy forwards, but not huge strength in depth in midfield. It's probably a shame for him he didn't get a loan to one of the better teams in Belgium or Holland or Portugal, because I think then he'd be on Potter's radar, as Sweden historically have no problem selecting players from those leagues. | | | |

With 7 important games over the next month, we need to look after any injured players rather than rush them back for Norwich. It's no more important than any of the other games, & less important than Boro.
