Fair. I guess it’s quite fun splashing the cash. We get to spend a summer being linked with 20 million quid players.

You’d hope we’ll have learnt a number of lessons from last time… we won’t be the first or last club that has needed to yo-yo before stabilising. Cheaper away tickets. As a football supporter, seeing the best players in the country.

Yep on the global exposure .. I’ve been backwards and forwards to Peru for the last 22 years and half of that time living there/here .. only last year did anyone when asking my club that I support (1,000 times a year on average) did I get any flicker of recognition … and it’s still occasionally happening this year because of that. So all the good things that global exposure brings which I’m sure outweighs all the bad things.

Oh and I get to see every game live on ESPN on’t big telly rather than some dodgy feed.

| Best thing about going up? on 20:36 - Apr 8 with 1697 views | PrideOfTheEast | Less games (!), more in London, we’ll get at least a couple of spurs/chelsea type results, getting rid of a number of players in this squad for significantly better ones! | | | |
| Best thing about going up? on 20:40 - Apr 8 with 1670 views | Swansea_Blue | VAR anyone? As a non-ST, live-away fan there’s no best thing for me. It’ll be much harder to find tickets and even when I do the matches will be at silly o’clock for Sky and need a hotel. A match then becomes a £300 mini break. All the benefits are for the club and regulars: testing yourself against the best, more money for better facilities/players. Watching better players and in theory a higher quality of football. As an underdog the wins are so much sweater too. | |

Early pop at McKenna for a season that hasn’t started yet. Good effort.

Almost every team coming to Portman Road and whacking 10 men behind the ball with significant amounts of time wasting and ridiculous fixture schedule because some teams don't have a working pitch. Get me back to the Prem please.

Exactly this. Keep building, keep moving forward. The reality of becoming a Brighton or a Brentford isn’t exactly thrilling but it’s massively better than plodding about in the championship.

I always have the 'Wider exposure, thinking of foreign fans' as a downside to the Premier League. It is Sky / TNT worldwide TV subscriptions that have ruined the game. Fans in the ground now pay second fiddle to how many subscribers they can recruit in Southeast Asia...

Disgraceful comment. Show some respect to the best manager we've had for years. One of the itfc greats.
