They really are a whining lot aren't they. The post-match bit on Radio Norfolk from that correspondent in the Barclay end was peak cringe blubbing. Given how they have apparently been peak Real Madrid since Clement came in , you'd think they would have still had enough to beat us at home despite going 1 down after 10 minutes. And if it hadn't been for Dara getting in between one or two of them today, they may have had a red card or two themselves. [Post edited 11 Apr 23:51]

Particularly like the theories that they officials are always biased against Norwich because it takes a long while to get there, as well as Mark Ashton and KM are good mates with the FA so asked for a favour!𤣠

| This is wonderful on 08:56 - Apr 12 with 2255 views | Herbivore | Pretty wild stuff that. The ref was poor but that went both ways, they had two or three players who easily could have picked up second yellows on another day and for most of the final half an hour I don't think he gave us a decision even though Norwich continued their tactic of committing niggly fouls all over the pitch. The ref lost control of the game fairly early on but despite them kicking lumps out of us for most of the first half we were the ones racking up the yellows and he was far more lenient the other way, imo. They lost because they're not very good. Can't remember them creating a genuine chance all game while we missed two or three other very good good chances. Basically, cry more you bunch of fannies. | |

I believe only 5 families post of there so it is hardly representative.

Yeah I spotted that: "Or it might be resentment towards us due to location and what a pain it is to get into Norwich from the rest of the country." And the fact that McKenna used to work for Man U many moons ago, so he's called in some favours there. Astonishing isn't it? You almost have to admire the chap's creativity with the amount of conspiracy theories he's managed to get into his two posts.

Yes. We had possession before and ended up with back off the ref without any additional advantage gained - so he played the advantage in our favour. In other words he let the game flow - sensible officiating as far as I can see.

Maclean, Stacey and whoever it was that put hands on Nunez could all have been sent off (who was it that clotheslined Davis?) Canât really understand the debate about the penalty, itâs a foul anywhere else on the pitch so a definite penalty, high foot, trailing arm? They were much improved from our previous win against them, but felt we were fairly comfortable despite conceding possession. Superb defensive performance and took our chances well. F**k âem

| This is wonderful on 09:38 - Apr 12 with 1847 views | Axeldalai_lama | That's stupendously silly stuff. We've had some shocking ref decisions and lambasted the officials no end on here. But to attempt to go into detail about specifics of corruption and being in cahoots with the fa and that McKenna used to be at United and Ashton has big sway in the game. Farkin ell that's another world of deluded nonsense. In their position I'd possibly be looking to blame a rubbish ref to paper over the rubbish performance, but to delve deep into corruption and bribery wouldn't even be on my radar. Very very weird. Lovely stuff. | | | |
| This is wonderful on 09:43 - Apr 12 with 1802 views | boysof1981 | That was an enjoyable read. Most of it saying the ref, EFL, even because Ashton has connections and McKenna once being at Man Utd was the reason the ref was corrupt. Even got one of them on there hoping Millwall go up because it was one their ex managers, perhaps itâll be another award for the participants to put on the Honours Board. | | | |

| This is wonderful on 09:58 - Apr 12 with 1685 views | OldFart71 | We all know that officiating whether in the Championship or in the Premier League which also has VAR is atrocious. But to say decisions by the lino and ref led to the Budgies losing is someone being a bird brain, Yes they may have had the ball more than we did, but how many times have we seen Town have 77% of the play and not win. How many times have we had awful refereeing decisions. Whilst I in no way think a referee's job is easy because players continually make decisions difficult for them and the money they get for controlling multi million pound players is peanuts they are the one's who decide to do those jobs. However you dress this game up, we are a better side than Norwich. The quality of players like Philogene and Clarke is way above what they have. That's not to say they haven't done fairly well from where they were. We must now forget about this game, as no doubt KM will and concentrate on Pompey. Then Boro. Win those two and we can look forward with confidence of a Premier League place. | | | |

| This is wonderful on 09:29 - Apr 13 with 662 views | BlueNomad | What is breathtaking is is that the initial comments are supported by others. They can feel aggrieved by certain decisions, as we often do, but they have reached new levels of delusion and bias. Nothing critical of their own thuggery whatsoever. Iâm quite proud of not being ânice little Ipswichâ and the only thing that surprised me during the game was that Darnell didnât wind them up. Other than that, Norwich just werenât very good. | | | |
