Assuming we have no appearance clause and we have to buy for the agreed fee - I think Cajuste would be decent squad filler for the price. Akpom I think we'd try to move on/loan out
Neither have worked out as hoped this season, but I think we were very sensible in how we structured those deals. They've given good quality squad depth without the initial outlay and if we don't get promoted we are not on the hook for £10m. If we do go up, it is a relative pittance in PL terms. | | | |

Dont think Rushworth is any better than Walton tbh. I’d be happy with Walts starting in the Premier. He’s a better keeper than 2 years ago and has been playing regularly. It’s easy to forget that when he played last time in the Prem he did so on the back of having played virtually no games in the previous season having got injured pre season and Vas then doing so well.

I think two centre backs come in to compete, one starter with o Shea and greaves back up lb/cb. Kipre battling with others.
Taylor cajuste won't play much of a part, will Nunez work as a non 10? Definitely 3/4 in here.

Definately a new 10 not sure Egeli will stay part of the first team, maybe season on loan? Maybe another utility centre mid in too.
I think 2 new strikers minimum, maybe keep Hirst as 3rd.

Agreed on that first point. Not so much the getting ahead of ourselves that worries me - we're in a very strong position and could be as good as up in 10 days from now - but rather talking about players who are busting a gut to take us up being let go if we get there.
