That is quite common, and isn't dangerous so long as it used for cash flow management. So, cash comes in ahead of parachute payments being received. In Leicester's case, they seem to have borrowed against the next year's revenues.
I would expect them to go into administration, probably soon enough that any points deduction is this season. They have created for years, and should have been kicked out of the league. Winning a promotion while cheating costs another club that Premier League place, for example. Horrible, long-term cheats, a mini-Man City or Chelsea. | | | |

We are 10th in the "away form" table, largely because of our poor results against the bottom half teams. This seems to me an issue of motivation. I think you are focussing on the wrong point. Town are struggling for automatic promotion because of our very average away form. We are 10th in the "away form" table, largely because of our poor results against the bottom half teams. This seems to me an issue of motivation. Hopefully they will be motivated for Charlton & WBA. |
We're 10th largely because every other team has played more games than us away from home. We've played 2 less than every single team above us. It's still possible for us to end up with the 2nd best away record in the league. If we get Automatic, we'll likely have a top 6 away record.
We've not been great away from home, and our performances against the lowest placed sides have been woeful, but our final record is massively dependent on the coming 7 days. | | | |

His playboy some inherited the £bns & the club & I understand he is more interested in polo & racehorses & the club has been mismanaged under his stewardship. Wouldn't be a shock if he let it go. To be fair they were quite famously very badly affected by covid. 95% of clubs in the EFL are surviving off owners putting in more and more money in the hopes that they can move up to the mecca of the premier league |  |

I genuinely feel for them. Money in football is horrible. I much preferred the filbert street days where a single transfer foresight can make a normal season into a great season. Football is going to break soon and a great reset is likely. Perhaps one day football will become the working man's game again. |

Correct. 2 more points away from home from the 2 games in hand we'd be 8th. 6 points, we'd be 4th (not saying we'll win both, just giving the positions).

Their position is not that exactly, they have expressed concern that the regulator is not going to be as independent as initially indicated.
It is not ANY attempt at regulation that they are worried about, they have warned against undue government interference, so long as the regulator is independent then there will be no issue. |  |
