Yes, clearly offside. Not by loads but clear enough. A shame as if he'd held his run by half a yard we'd be up now.
Indeed we would be up by now, but it was one of those decisions which could have gone our way in the land of non-VAR.
So I suspect the refs were under orders from Sky to disallow the goal so that we can get a dodgy penalty and get promoted at the weekend instead. Or something.

Furlongs header Clarke's post rebound off keeper Clarke's shot with fingertip save
So many nearly moments. Hopefully come Saturday none of them matter
If ever one moment told the story of a season. 23/24 we have a last chance against S’ton and Sarmiento finds space in the box and pokes it in the corner, 3 points, limbs. Last night Clarke finds some space on the edge of the box and pokes it onto the post and it rebounds of the back of the keeper out of play, 1 point. That’s not to blame him of course, his impact was excellent.
It feels like our season has been a bit like that all the way through. Salvaging draws late on where in 23/24 we’d have nicked a win. Missing golden opportunities to see out games. So many nearly moments.
A very annoying offside. Defender didnt even 'make' the offside. Neil just stood there and didnt get back onside. He steps back. Its a goal
It was just another thing to add to the list of things Neil didn't do very well last night. It's such a shame Taylor was not fit enough for last night. I really hope he's back on Saturday. That was another game that passed Neil by, he's been a massive disappointment. I thought he was going to be a great, ready made fit for us but he's been largely terrible.

I think that's really harsh.
He has been underwhelming but I thought he was really good last night, got through an immense amount of work and actually covered for Azor a fair bit (who still doesn't look quite right since his injury)

Yep, I had the same hopes for Neil and now share a similar level of disappointment. That said, KMcK's greatest strength (IMO) is getting limited players to play beyond - or perhaps around - their limitations and I hope he can do for Neil what he is doing for Clark and Philogene - two other players who I didn't have too much hope for because of their physicality.

Yeah, I must admit I was not pleased to see Neal starting and probably spent a while trying to find fault with his performance, but he won me over last night. He wasn't brilliant but he did keep doing things and I thought he was OK. Probably his best game so far.
