Massive advantage for Boro as they knew all along they'd play Hull if Saints were expelled. Hull have had to prep for Soton but knowing it could be Boro. Apparently, they only have one training session between now and the game.

| If Boro win.... on 21:50 - May 20 with 1921 views | Bloots | ....Hull are inevitably going to appeal on the basis that they had already lost and shouldn't have been in the final at all. It could go on all summer. What a laugh. | |

The logical outcome is promote Hull and Boro and relegate Spurs and West Ham. It's only fair.

Would it help if someone went to spy on Boro's training sessions on Hulls behalf? Asking for a friend, of course

| Southampton lose their appeal. on 22:00 - May 20 with 1754 views | itfc1108 | I have seen that the Hull owner has said he will take legal action if they lose against Middlesbrough in the final. I know it's unfair if they have been preparing for Southampton, but they should take the action now, not after the game if they lose.I | | | |

Hull are a near elite level professional football club, not a year 6 school team being coached by a stand-in history teacher because the sports coach is on long-term sick. Saying that they're not up to coping with not knowing which of two teams in the same league, both of whom they'd already played twice this season, they'll be playing in 2.5 days time seems rather insulting to me.

I think that's rather under estimating the amount of preparation a professional team puts into a game these days. That is ironically, what this entire affair is all about after all.

Only trained twice in the last week so certainly not normal prep. Will travel Friday so likely only two days actual tactical work.

They've still got to do the same amount of fitness and on-the-ball work. I'm not a football coach though, do they really need more than 2 days to work on formation and tactics to deal with team B rather than team A? Wouldn't their manager/coaches have already drawn up both a plan A and a plan B? I'd bet my house that KM would have done!
