Need the new guy in, with the capability to have his own players. Has to be noted though, that his agents were planting these stories the last time all the speculation came up. Time for a new contract perhaps? ;) [Post edited 9 Jun 11:47]

Alex Crook generally reputable and not one to publish pure speculation. Not saying it's guaranteed he's going but either Fulham sources or McKenna's agents briefing this. [Post edited 9 Jun 11:49]

Hopefully it is just a re-hash of what they have stated previously as Phil seems quite confident it won't happen. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

| 'Mckenna increasingly likely to leave Ipswich' on 11:52 - Jun 9 with 6875 views | itfcjoe | Doesn't feel a lot of meat on the bones in the article, and still only been TalkSport pushing anything on this. Hopefully it is because it isn't happening, main reason I haven't thought it would is because they seem to be more interested in the free agents, and the difference between that and an £8m release clause is massive | |

They're not though - established Prem setup etc. A lot, lot worse Clubs he could go to.

| 'Mckenna increasingly likely to leave Ipswich' on 11:53 - Jun 9 with 6822 views | JakeITFC | I was of the opinion that he'd leave this summer if a stable Prem job came up and it looks like Fulham is the only game in town for him, so can expect his agents would be keen to let them know he'd take it if offered. What isn't ideal is that the other candidates seem to be dropping out of the race too. | | | |

This is where I'm at. Complete sideways move (if it happens) and I'll be looking forward to taking 6 points off them next season.

Alex Crook does seem to get a lot of early calls right. Suspect others may follow.

I thought Phil said yesterday it’s speculative and nothing in it? Either way, if KM is on his way, it needs to happen quickly.

They wouldnt need to do that through the media. His agents will be talking directly.

Alex Crook had him all but signed at Brighton two summers ago.

For me the only negative thoughts i've had regarding him staying from his point of view is that we are going to be one of the favourites for relegation regardless of how we as fans feel. 2 relegations from 2 on his c.v wouldn't look good Fulham almost feels like he'd be being forced into accepting the only option left having turned down far better jobs to stay. Wonder if he's a bit irked that he out-coached Carrick & Rosenior only to see them land the Chelsea/Man United jobs. I would be. Fingers crossed this is just media speculation

My main thought is they had a great, proven manager in the door in Silva and they wouldn’t back him in the market to the extent he wanted so why would the owner change philosophy now? McKenna is going to want some guarantees on that front.

The story is that McKenna is likely to leave, not necessarily to Fulham. We shouldn't forget all of the rubbish that was coming out at the start of our previous summer in the Prem from these cretins.

Wasn't that correct though? Didn't KM make a last minute decision to stay?

I think most of the speculation last time was based on genuine interest.

He had one foot out of the door to be fair. Then the big wigs came over from the US, and we broke the bank for him. They werent exactly wrong.

| 'Mckenna increasingly likely to leave Ipswich' on 12:00 - Jun 9 with 6356 views | Grundisburger | Yes because Talksport is known to be the best source for football news I’ve seen articles from other sources saying that Fulham potentially want him but Talksport seem to be the only one saying he’s likely to leave (which I hope he doesn’t just yet) | | | |
