His true colors were always going to come to light, just surprised it's taken this long tbh.
Probably because the Tories and Labour have been such a soap opera in recent years, he's managed to stay under the radar, but now he's scrutinized you can see he's a proper charlatan.
A totally fraudulent scumbag, beggars belief that people actually vote for this quasi fascist and his party.
'people actually vote for this quasi fascist and his party"
they're rejecting the alternatives which they consider to have ignored and patronised them. plus farage really upsets people who they know have contempt for them. stopping reform involves recognising those things.
And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show

I whole heartedly support everything discussed and am an avid JOB listener.
However - I don’t generally believe this moves the needle at all. Like me I imagine most of JOB’s listeners detest Farage, so telling people who already know he’s a grifter that he is…a grifter all seems sadly irrelevant these days.
Vibes are what matters today sadly which is how you end up with Starmer resigning despite doing an ok job with utterly sh1t cards.

I'd basically agree with that, although I'd characterise your 'ignored and patronised them' more as a 'kowtowed to corporate interests and failed to represent our human society properly'. But that's not a huge difference in outcome at all.
Good work by Philogene...... GREAT WORK BY PHILOGENE!!!
He gets angry and crumbles under any sort of pressure in an interview, it's just not applied to him nearly enough. He's incredibly thin skinned, and this needs to be exposed as much as possible.
Hopefully we've now seen peak Farage, and we're now witnessing the decline.

Sally Nugget had a fairly decent go at him on the Beeb (niche outlet these days, I know).
Yep he is just a deeply unpleasant racist isn't he who only cares about his own enrichment It is a tragedy that the people who have the most to lose follow him unconditionally But people need to also take responsibility for their actions/votes A vote for a racist hate filled serial liar is just that and not justified by what the other parties do despite what many, including some on here, say in their desperate attempts to legitimise such actions. See USA - vote for someone who denied election results, tried to get democracy overturned and then set a mob on the seat of government and what you get is current day Trump
Fair play to Sally Nugent. Journalists should also run with O'Brien's point about Farage being the most endangered politician in the UK and the murders of Jo Cox and David Amiss.

It might. Most of his fanboys appear to be lost causes and we know his lying doesn’t matter, but the receipts seem to have him bang to rights here - if the Parliamentary commission doesn’t find punishable wrongdoing here, we might as well shut down the whole show. The particular indignation here seems to be because he realises he hasn’t managed to pull the wool this time on people he thought he could outsmart.

Do you expect the average Farage fanboy to care if they punish him?
"they're all as bad as each other"

Another key point he makes is that farage owned the reform UK company at the time. The idea that he wasn't involved in politics at the time is utterly false.

While true, it also involves some people realising that the fire is not necessarily a better option than the frying pan.
But it's all about feelings, not rationality. Anger at being talked down to, jealousy of others who appear to have more, nostalgia for a privileged past which never really existed, fear of being cast aside or left behind. Going for candidates who (deliberately) excite all of those raw nerves, even if they lack experience of practical governing, their actual economic plans make little sense and their social policies conentrate on demonising minorities and the unfortunate (the latter including quite a lot of those out on the streets in their support).

If he ends up disqualified as an MP, and ideally if the entire nature of Reform UK plc gets properly investigated, they might have to. Though I accept I might be chasing a rainbow here.

Yeah, hadn't occurred to me (or seemingly anyone else) but JOB's point on that is a killer and closes any lame debate down.
Has anyone ever looked at their own postings for last day or so? Oh my... so sorry. Was Ullaa

I'm not sure he's even genuinely racist. More he is using those energies to progress his actual agenda (massive deregulation, allowing himself and associates to personally plunder the economy).
Which possibly makes him even worse. Cynical encourager of racism and xenophobia ("Just asking questions"), for his own ends. He knows the evil which springs from it, but doesn't care.
Does it matter? His supporters dont care about corruption.
They just care about kicking out anyone whos skin tone is mot the same as theirs. They have no idea abour what his other policies will mean but he likes a fag and a pint and he says stop the boats alot and that's enough for them

It's probably too much of a dream, but I do like to wonder whether it reaches enough pushback and scrutiny that he sees how hard it will be, figures out the direction of travel and shuffles off before he loses, gets humiliated or had to do anything resembling hard work. Unfortunately he'd probably still be around as an agitator like a fart in a lift but at least he wouldn't actively be in any sort of control to dish out absolute chaos and humiliation to the public.

Well, I think the bigger point is this happened on Ferrari's show, who is definitely not the same base of listeners.
Also, he had the same question on the Radio, and the BBC, and he handled it equally badly there.

Suspension and recall petition will be interesting. Does he get in again at a by election with the whole media focussed on him never going to clacton, rarely being in parliament and having been bought by a crypto tycoon?
