I would imagine the chance to play regularly in the Premier League would be more appealing than playing in Scotland and having a few Champions League appearances. The salary would be a big factor too.
I can't see any Scottish side keeping a player that a Premier League side is seriously interested in simply because they are in the Champions League. I am sure there are many examples of players at lesser clubs in the Champions League joining Premier League clubs at the lower end of the table. | |
