I reckon we'll find life on another planet fairly soon.
Within my lifetime I hope. And it would be one of the biggest discoveries of all time.

At least we have found somewhere we can fill up our helium balloons, when we have lost all ours, by accidentally letting go of our floaty balloons!

They are drip feeding disclosure. It's everywhere. No one thing you can point to and say this is the proof but they are openly discussing it.

There are things in the sky doing things the US miliary couldn't dream of doing and they admit they don't know what they are.

JD Vance was on Rogan recently talking about how they don't know what these things are.

There has been a switch from 'aliens' to non human intelligence. No idea what it is but every high ranking official (who absolutely could be bullsh1tting and cashing in on it) say the truth is "unpalatable".

There is are an incredible amount of testimonies from all sorts of people. Again, none of it evidence, but there's enough to make you sit up and think there's something in it.

What if they don't like us and restraint doesn't exist on their planet?

Yes, it's excellent news with regards to finding life outside the solar system.

Whilst the planet is rocky and in the habitable zone it's quite different to earth in that it's 5 times the mass and is tidally locked.

Non-human intelligence is clearly fish-people who evolved here and live in the oceans. Basically all the UAPs seem to be going in and out of the ocean.

And I, for one, welcome our fish-people overlords.

Not seen anything remotely credible personally. Why aren’t NASA and other scientists, physicists talking about it. The drip feed of things from the US Military is stuff to distract from the things in government that people should be concerned about. That and throwing off their enemies- particularly the Chinese military who are rapidly catching them up (and in some cases surpassing them in technological advancements.

I don’t buy it for a moment, there’s not a single reason someone like Putin or other authoritarian that wouldn’t be open about it and use it to stoke fear and further clampdowns on their populations.

It is going to be quite funny when Elon rocks up at another planet, and they say, sorry no small rockets, back you go.

Has anyone checked that this planet isn't actually at the Kuiper Belt position for objects of helium balloon density?

Could it be that we've actually created this so-called atmosphere with our naff party airborne littering fetish?

NASA, astronomers, physicists and astrobiologists are absolutely talking about alien life. NASA actively studies whether life could exist elsewhere and funds research in astrobiology. Their current position is that we do not have confirmed evidence of extraterrestrial life but the universe is so vast that it is scientifically reasonable to investigate whether life exists elsewhere.

I'm not sure Putin would have any evidence, or even contemplate suggesting it to stoke fear and further clampdowns. He's doing a decent job of that anyway. Putting something like that out would massively rock the boat, which would be way too risky for him (even if he considered it, which he has no reason to). Intelligent alien life is potentially more powerful than him, and he doesn't want that.

I'm not saying that anyone knows and is hiding it. But I can see why it would make sense to hide it rather than release it.

I think it's more likely that we haven't found proof yet... and the reason is we've barely scratched the surface in terms of searching (both in the time we've spent looking and the amount we're able to see).

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Sorry - I think maybe I was unclear. I’m definitely not disputing there is life elsewhere in the universe, totally believe that on the maths alone! Was rather the suggestion that there was NHI on/visiting earth.

Completely agree with your last para!

The U$ Gov is weakening the news cycle and implanting doubt into the news media as a modu operandi.
Trumpton on the IR school missile - Might not have been on of ours

No saying you're wrong, but what do you base that (very pessimistic) view on?

NASA’s Europa Clipper probe is scheduled to enter Jupiter's orbit in April 2030 and begin conducting a series of close flybys of Europa in spring 2031. Europa is one of the places there's a decent chance of finding life and that's only 5 years away.

A 5 year old reading this may well be around in 70-80 years time. Who knows how far technology will have progressed in that time, and how far we'll be able to 'see'.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.
