If the signings the club are working on all come through, will this be the most diverse squad of players that we’ve ever had at the club?

The countries represented would be:

Rep of Ireland
England
Scotland
Wales
Albania
Brazil
Chile
Ghana
Iraq (if AAH stays)
Ivory Coast
Japan (if Maeda and/or Morita sign)
Morocco (if Diop signs)
Netherlands
Norway

Have I missed any?

Yeah we've never seen anything like this. Great to see we're casting our net far and wide. And think of all the commercial opportunities, we're gonna be a worldwide draw.

I’m probably wrong but I’m sure we’ve been as diverse if not more in the past … but we’re getting there.

Better get a decent Chinese player then. There are more Liverpool /Man U fans there than in the whole UK by a huge margin. Liverpool have around 40-50 million fans in China alone ! Bonkers

Seems to have been largely overlooked, but Kayne van Oevelen qualifies to play for Indonesia through his grandmother!

Was born in Thailand, so would have qualified for them and England as well.

This is why Joel Piroe is always great in these situations as he represents Suriname, very unique.

I'm not sure if ticking off the counties of the United Kingdom and Ireland really counts.

He's a smart lad. I would have him down for advanced trigonometry rather than just counting.

Yours pedantically, NQI.

In the past I have always noticed on Wikipedia when you look at squad lists that the big clubs have a squad of players from around the world. The further down the leagues you go the more local players there are.

Wikipedia have the flag of each player's nation next to their name. We have made it. Exciting seeing the squad we are building.
