I don't really know how money laundering works, so don't want to cast aspersions, but wouldn't one way be to invest in an asset of some sort with 'dirty' money, and then receive clean money back from the ongoing usage of said asset?

Leeds don’t have a sell on, which is good at least. They don’t need help with talent ID, they’re too good as it is, great business by West Ham to get that deal done!! They have more oil money than god, why would they need ‘dirty’ money the whole oil $ exists because of them and their agreements with the US.
Think of the biggest number you can. Now double it. Double it another ten times, that’s the interest in the actual amount, of the smaller pot of money, they use for daily expenses.
That why the ‘value’ bit is a odd measure.., they’ll think it’s great value - they can only move to younger profile players at their peak if they bid a lot more, and pay a lot more to players, it’s that simple.
We’re the biggest revenue league in the world, but we have a ceiling - our governance is 85% of revenue 75% for teams in Europe (which is bizarre, for them) but we forget; we might be top boys for product, we’re second for revenue.., by a distance.
Their pot has no limi. NONE, crazy isn’t it, they can pay whatever they want.., it’s as big as sovereign oil funds worth trillions and trillions .., we might be second biggest.., but we have governance and the its like the premier league to league one! .., they’re oil sustainability issue is if oil is still a thing.

That £150M is down to about £70M profit, so yes a big number, but little or none of that will be available to improve the squad.

Both will lose around £75M revenue. This puts West Ham at £150M income, and Wolves at £100M. Their current squad cost for the new financial rules are £275M and £240M respectively. Both have huge wage bills and massive ongoing player amortisation costs. That would put their SCR ratios at 183% and 240%!!!
Yes, they will get their costs down, but only with significant player offloads. I suspect the squads we see playing today to be very different next season for both.
