To be fair I think Philogene views it as a job, which it is. Like millions in jobs he will simply be looking for the next job, and probably based a lot on wage increase. Which personally I don't a problem with.
Conversely it could have been the fact KM was here that he moved here to improve his ability via KMs coaching skills and now KM has gone he's decided he wants out. |  | | |

I understand that view. I'm a bit annoyed because we bought him to make a difference in the Premier League, and it took a lot of messing about to get him to sign in the first place. And he wants out before we even get to play that level.
So there's absolutely no way we should take a loss on the deal with him sat on a 4 year contract
Set against that, i've never felt he gave less than 100% or wasn't committed on the pitch and without him we probably don't get promoted last season. | | | |

We know very little about Jaden because he's evidently a quiet lad and doesn't seem very comfortable with the PR nonsense that comes with being a pro. Conversely, we seem to know much more about his agent because he seems to be an irritating high-profile spiv who won't shut the f#ck up.
So it's a shame Jaden's getting this level of disdain when we don't really have anything to go on to suggest he's agitating for a move, and it might well be resulting from his gobshite agent moving to a gobshite agency. God I miss the days when we had no reason to have ever heard of the likes of Romano.

My biggest question is who is capable of stumping up the kind of money we would be looking for?
I'd assume we'd be looking for £30m+ given his contract length. We'll probably have to decide if its worth coming down to £25m to make it more probable for teams on the continent which is where the interest seems to be coming from, just so that we can shift him on. |

I don't believe in keeping a player at any club against their will, if he doesn't want to play for us, sell him on and use the money to re invest in the squad.
You see so many clubs with the big egos that bring a negative effect to the dressing room, bring the squad morale down and ultimately leads to other issue and pressure on the manager if things start to go wrong.

I think your last paragraph is spot on tbf.
If things went badly for Jaden this year he is in danger of being a "too good for the Championship, can't make it in the prem" player and he clearly has ambition of playing at the top. If he gets a move to an easier league not as physically demanding as the prem and shines, that move to the top seems more attainable imo. |  |
