The amount of disinformation on social media is off the scale. I really wish we’d take the threat seriously at a governmental level and people would think before using these sort of sites to spread willingly or unwittingly spread propaganda (I’m thinking X and Facebook especially but maybe there are others I don’t know about). But it seems everyone’s happy letting this sort of stuff infect the country and drive us apart, so here we are. Not straightforward though because to call out the sh*t on there obviously requires it to be shown. I don’t know what the answer is other than a blanket ban, but that sounds a bit authoritarian. Or maybe some of the court cases lately around youth depression and suicide will have an effect. Who knows. |  |

Russia is the largest country in the world with dozens of minorities and cultures, they aren't all white European looking.

It's a concerted and ongoing effort to try and get me to react. Bloots has downvoted nearly every one of my posts for months. I am slightly worried he will get Carpal Tunnel Syndrome from hammering the down votes and I certainly don't want to be the cause of any long-lasting damage.
The fact that a bunch of middle-age men feel the need to try and get a reaction from another person they don't even know on a forum regardless of the accuracy or content of the posts says a lot more about them than anything I could post.
