Hi mate. All good here. Am at uni. Online learning which is a bit of a shambles so far tbh. As you can imagine, a sports coaching degree without the ability to actually coach, isn’t ideal. My younger brother is one of the people who would be vulnerable to catch it so I made the decision (unlike 99% of the university) to stay in Wycombe. One less person he can catch it from. Here with my mate though who’s also stayed in our house. Had a walk today. Took the football out for a bit whilst we walked. Nice to get some air yano.

At the risk of being a pedant...it is a deferral, so presumably he will still get paid in full at some stage (?) In a world of 0.1% interest rates the opportunity cost to him is very low.
As others have said, it’s a nice gesture, I am certainly not going to knock it and it will certainly help cash flow (and potentially save some jobs at the club) in the short term. As will the governments CJPS presumably. In the medium term we just need to be careful that this does not accidentally hamstring us under the salary cap legislation next season. |  | | |

The guy can't win in the eyes of some people I'm afraid. If it had come out a few days previous that say, Daniel Farke had done this, the same people criticising him would have been screaming "Booooooooooo. Why don't you do the same Lambert?"
