TEAM: on 14:04 - Oct 10 with 1405 views | Herbivore | How the fook is Alan Judge starting? Basically a 4-5-1 with a big man up top on his own. With Nolan out and Judge in for Sears that's two less players who might actually get close to Hawkins or run in behind him.

I would assume injured and because Nsiala and Wilson are a so far undefeated pairing. He’s damned if he changes that and damned if he doesn’t.

Judge was pretty terrible against mk dons last week so not sure how he has earned a start.

He's on the bench so can't be injured.

Nolan’s not on the bench - but I do like the look of the bench.

I think the Woolfenden one is understandable. If he did want to change the defence one would assume McGuinness would have been the obvious change. However, changing a defence that has been playing well would send the message out that it doesn't matter how well a player does, their place is determined by a pecking order. Nsiala and Wilson have earnt their starting places and, as much as I would love to see Wolfenden playing, long may they continue to do so. Nolan not in the squad so must be unavailable. Not sure why he would drop Sears - he did have a poor game last week but seems a little harsh to me.

Judge......I have an idea......apple for teacher..... He might just be the new pet. He's added nowt and taken loads out. Lot's of running around, the vast majority of it pointless.
| Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me.
Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing.
Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial.
Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid.
Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.

Did feel like the early sub for Judge last week was a hint that he might get him back in the team.

He is Lambert's Jonathan Douglas. A player who arrived from Brentford with a reasonably distinguished past behind him who keeps getting picked regardless of the utter lack of contribution he makes.

Surely better to start with an attacking line up than "need" it though.

Yeah sorry I meant Nolan
TEAM: on 14:44 - Oct 10 with 984 views | pointofblue | What is Lambert's obsession with Judge? Maybe he thinks he might provide more defensive support for Kenlock but that's grasping at straws. Edwards will also be playing on the unfavoured right side too. I prefer the bench to the first XI!

Some players have to start every game they're available. Woolfenden is one of them. Also our games to date have been against weaker teams in this division, today will be a tougher prospect

Few of us have had howlers to be fair. We saw today what that midfield - Bishop and Dozzer in particular - can do and how effective Edwards is on the left. I did call Edwards starting on the left to offer cover for Kenlock but didn't think he'd also offer as much in the final third.
