I've known a lot of you clowns for years now, many virtually and a fair few in person. I'm fairly fond of most of you.
We're pretty much united here, in our condemnation of how far apart we are from ME and his oaf of a manager see us, and, in turn, from how we see 'our' ITFC.
A lot of you have reached breaking point, and I think I'm there too. There is no supporting ITFC any more; we're just supporting ME's continual, abysmal, ownership.
It has to be non-league for the foreseeable, maybe longer.
I thought this would feel painful, and worse than this - but it doesn't. Death by a thousand cuts, indeed.

Yeah, and as I've said before, it's not about results or even performances, but what's come out from the club recently is simply not Ipswich.
I never imagined a time where I'd be openly hostile to our club, but this is it. Fck PRP, fck ME. It's a shambles. Totally disillusioned, even after so many years of meh. |  |

Yes, I am done. Ice Hockey starts soonish here in Canada and I will spend my money following that. I am truly done with Ipswich until Evans leaves.

The club is in a seemingly irreversible decline under Evans’ ownership. McCarthy was good enough to arrest that for a few years and that let Evans think any other manager could do the same thing. Despite the evidence of Keane and Jewell to show him otherwise.
Relegation always threatened to be disastrous for the club rather than a springboard to recovery and so it is proving now. We’re not coming back from this under Evans. |  |

It’s a feeling I think I’ve had for a while.
Our chairman has shut the door on supporters, a lot of whose financial and emotional investment in the club preceded his ownership.
As long as he sees progress we can go and f@ck ourselves. That’s the bit that hit me most. We’re rag tag Marcus baby. How can ME talk of progress when we’re flopping in League 1 with Lambert on a long term deal?

We knew he's never quite got football & sees us mainly in terms of running a business. However, even if you look at it purely from that perspective, what a truly terrible way to run a business - giving PL a 5-yr contract, failing to address fundamental problems within our Sports Science dept, allowing our fitness coach to wfh 400 miles away, allowing PL to ban Phil, failing to understand the mood of fans etc. |  |

The way he wrote as is if he was talking down to us, because he was. We are the plebs and he's the millionaire. A millionaire that's lost £100million on football because he hasn't a clue what he's doing, a millionaire that appointed a PE Teacher to run the club. I've read and re-read his statement a few times now. I can't believe the balls of the man and the delusion. Blaming the fans is the final straw for me. I will never step foot inside Portman Road again until both Evans and Lambert are gone. To say that leaves me with a heavy heart, but I am not going to line his pockets any longer.

I'll certainly be turning it down if I'm offered it. I can't be bothered to turn on my laptop to watch ITFC these days, I'm hardly going to do a 180 mile round trip to stand in the cold, two meters away from a few other hardy souls watching that tripe.
Not sure what extra insight and knowledge Marcus expects me to see from that experience either. |  |
