I know we are all excited that football is back 13:44 - Jan 9 with 2012 viewsSpruceMoose

But just a reminder. Evans is still crap, Phil is still banned and Lambert should still be out.

It's a boycott from me.

Thank you for your attention.

I agree with the overall sentiment, but not sure I'd go as far as giving Phil the manager's job tbh.

I'm a glass half full person so i shall watch us win and still believe that we shall get promoted once we have our important players back.

It’s not in the script for us to lose today. If Swindon were in the top 8 then it’d be a formality.

I'll be watching, with a beer or 4 if I'm allowed. I've missed it.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

I’ll be watching because i already have Sky but that’s it until Phil’s back.

With respect, I don't think Ham could be a lot worse. Worth a punt at the job.

Yes, all of this.

Sat with my Villa supporting son last night and was inspired by the way a team with an average age of 18 took on Salah, Mane and co.

During the second half my lad turned to me and said, ‘’bet Ipswich don’t try as hard as this tomorrow’’

The truth certainly hurt!

Villa’s youths were a credit to themselves and their club.

Frankly, at this point even Nazi Bilverstone would probably do a better job than Lambert, never mind Phil.

No problem with boycotting if you want to but I don't see why you need to try and persuade others to stop following their club. It will be here long after Evans, Lambert, O'Neil or whoever, are gone. It's in a crap spot at the minute, so the fact that fans are still excited about watching, whether putting money into the club or not, is a very good thing.

I don't think it's compulsory to do as the OP suggests to be fair.

Although I will check and get back to you on that.

Must say, if it were ifollow then I wouldn't consider it either but as it's on elsewhere...

Dunno, not sure about that either as I've had huge problems with NOW TV in the past for charging me for several months I hadn't signed up to and never got the full refund.

Nobody is saying 'don't follow' they're saying 'maybe don't give the club any money until they start acting like grown ups again'.

I wasn't trying to persuade anyone. I fully support anyone choosing to watch. Just a shout out of support to Phil, and a reminder that we are run by incompetents.

We're reasonably competent flat-track bullies but we are traditionally terrible after a break AND terrible when we're on TV.

Therefore, we will get a laboured 1-0 after a mistake at the back from Swindon when one of our hopeful punts upfield after the traditional 12 passes at the back gets somewhere near one of our players.
