I would say good to excellent, rather than brilliant.
What has been so promising is really good quality passing and interplay between, midfield and attack, so seriously good triangles, fullbacks also really strong.
Parrot looks class and is making Judge and Sears playing better. Would be good for him to score. |  |

Parrott has transformed us as a counter attacking side but not sure why people are trying to make out the performance overall is different. 2nd half miles better and definitely pushed the line up further |  |

We looked like this for a couple of games this time last season then we reverted to type.

Some patches of play are very good. Brilliant is going to far.
Parrott looks superb, far too good for this level. Matheson also looks very good but we knew that already from his time at Rochdale.
Moving Dozzell further forward has made us play further down the pitch which has made a difference - Lambert could have done this months ago though.
Still time for it to go all wrong and still only one match.

It’s good. Fairly even first half where we escaped a couple of early-ish scares from set pieces. We still caused problems going forward though and have been moving the ball a lot quicker and getting men forward in numbers.
Second half we’ve stepped up another gear and could have had another couple.

1. We've been perfectly adequate flat-track bullies for ages. Midtable Blackpool are perfect cannon fodder for a manager who needs to thro w alone to the early pleased.
2. We don't own ANY of these new players.We will be back to square one in the summer if he says. Probably trying to rebuild after a mass exodus, under the salary cap. Or Losing forward to a season that makes 18/19 look like 00/01 by comparison in the Championship.
3. It shouldn't take chucking a load of new players in for these changes to have happened. We've had the personnel to be doing this and out of this division a season ago.
