Lambert said his apology wasnt good enough and if a player did that they'd be looking at a 6 month ban
Who cares what Lambert says?
It's getting to the point where quoting Lambert about football should be a banable offence as he clearly isn't watching what most of us consider to be football.

Did he really?
I thought it looked like a yellow card offense though if Judge had taken a tumble it might have been red, but a VAR review would have probably ruled yellow was right.

If he did say that then he would have been talking bollox again. Players do do that, quite often and I have never heard of one getting such a ban for it.

It's like quoting the Daily Express, The Canary, Piers Corbyn or Tom Hunt to support whatever ridiculous political point you're making, at this point isn't it?
I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Not to the ref they don't. Which I think was Lamberts point I think.
I do feel a bit sorry for him actually. A moment of madness and clearly unprofessional but his face and name has been plastered all over the internet, social media, newspapers, radio and Sky Sports News.
He's apologised and I don't think it was 'watered down' as PL said, it's no different to any other stock apology. I didn't see Paul Lambert apologising when he confronted the Norwich bench.
Clearly there's a process to follow but I can't imagine how he's feeling at home right now - must be in tatters.
(Although he was a bit Mike Dean last night - very flamboyant arm raising after his whistles)

On this issue alone PL was not wrong. However we all feel about PL and ITFC in general, the action by the referee was totally out of order. In better times we would all have been calling for his head! I guess I am surprised that on this of all days BB you could not let it rest. I suppose your love of all things left wing in the politic sense, out weighs your love of ITFC. Queue the cavalry......

I'm guessing you missed the bit where I also cited two deeply unreliable left wing sources as examples as well then?
Like everything Lambert does, it's all spin to make himself look good. He didn't give a t0ss about the club's structure at the start of the season,

As you say he was flamboyant. It struck me that he wanted to be noticed. Good refs do the opposite. I don’t have much sympathy for him tbh.

I’ll pile in first then with the down arrow you crave. As a random act of kindness though, PM your bank details and I’ll sort your share of the Nigerian Lottery win. Thank you sir/mate.

I thought he was a good ref throughout to be honest - he was the only person on the field who showed any passion as well and I hope he just gets a two week ban or something.
He was probably stood there, in the February cold, having to officiate the world's most drab match with two awful, awful teams, he makes the decision not to give a penalty and then gets his own performance questioned.
