Perhaps Cook will get a little bit of credit for that? Donacien has shown a terrific attitude to keep coming back after getting a kick in the ballacks over the last few seasons, you have to take your hat off to him how he’s reacted. I really rate Burgess. He’s our best all round defender imo. Excellent in the air, is decent enough position wise and at one to one defending he’s solid enough (not as good at that as Donacien thougu imo) | |

i think you and I were both always behind seeing Janoi play- cracking player, and one that Lambert probably binned off because his back flanks were so unbalanced. I like KVY but LBwas always more of our issue for the seasons gone by |  |

He’s very necessary at the moment and part of the reason for the mini-revival. We’re very lopsided going forward though as most of the better play comes down the left; Burns is left with limited options at times.
After being loaned out and his horror show against Wimbledon at home a while back he’s done fantastically well to be back in the fold. His performances have deserved recognition. I wonder what work Cook and co are doing with KVY given his limited versatility means he misses out on the bench when he’d be a great alternate option to bring on if the game needed it. |  |
