The Elton John version of Pinball Wizard is better, in my view, much as I like The Who.
For my two pennyworth I give you, and prefer, the Status Quo version of the classic Doors track Roadhouse Blues. Sadly, this YouTube version is missing the original drummer Coghlan but it’s not bad.

Thank you. A better version is this off the 1977 Live album when in their prime.
Not a Beatles fan, but this is good (always liked Petty, Lynne and Windwood) and Prince’s guitar solo at the end one of the best I’ve ever heard. He totally shreds it. It’s worth watching just for that. Sensational.
