Team for the FA Cup then on 10:08 - Jan 6 by Bobsthename
I think the team will be stronger some how think mckenna would liked to of put a side to see how we competed against a championship side .
I think it depends how the illness situation is in the camp. If it has more or less passed through, I think we'll go strong. The Plymouth game isn't for another 7 days, so there's plenty of recovery time.
Buxton line-up featured only 4 players that you wouldn't expect to see starting a league game.
Wouldn't be surprised if it was a bit stronger than that, although surely at least one of those CBs will start.
Guess it depends on the illness/injury situation to some extent. If Davis is over the bug I can see him starting as he missed out last time and from McKenna's comments in the past it seems like he doesn't really see a cup match as a 'rest week' so to speak if there isn't another game before the following Saturday.
Main ticks for me would be Luongo getting a decent chunk of game time and getting a good look at Ahadme who whilst clearly not trusted to compete for a starting spot yet has been unfortunate imo not to play a bit more.
Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.
If our illness situation is mostly cleared up: Walton; Donacien, Woolfenden, Edmundson, Davis; Luongo, Morsy; Edwards, Chaplin, Jackson; Ahadme.
Free hits for Edmundson, Luongo, Edwards and Ahadme to make their case for more first team involvement or just to keep up to speed with things, in a wider context of a strong team. Rests for Burns, Evans, Harness.
Aluko out as skipper, Luongo in the squad - starter? May see Walton retain his place and Ladapo needs to score a goal. Leigh stays at LB for Davis and maybe see Jackson in for Harness.

McKenna has made it clear now it's not too priority and will rest those who have played most minutes (whilst still wanting to win). I think we will most likely see the likes of Morsy, Burns, Woolf rested and I reckon maybe even Walton.
Then for Plymouth, providing no more signings, which I doubt: Walton, Donacien, Woolfenden, Burgess, Davis, Morsy, Evans, Burns, Chaplin, Harness, Ladapo.
