Perhaps. But you would have to imagine the push will be for Hirst. If not Hirst, Bishop will be coming here to pick up splinters, or a plastic seat behind the subs.

Freddie is only slightly behind McGoldrick and Chappers for goals per 90 minutes, and has the best shot accuracy of any striker in League One. Plus Freddie has adapted to our way of playing better and better as the season has gone on. I'd say he's miles ahead of Bishop in terms of what we need in the Championship.

He’s not had a long run in the post Broadhead era, it was obvious Hirst fit the bill once he got fit. I would be surprised if we don’t take Ladapo at least through Y1.
I pointed out in a previous thread there is limited Championship experience in our striker line especially assuming Hirst arrives. I wonder how much this will count for KMCK in the first window, will we risk riding it and see where we are in Jan? Or consider youth and all energy at the way to go because we have seen how disruptive it can be even when that player isn’t scoring themselves.

I think he would be such an interesting addition into our group. Got the versatility to play in the 10 role, potentially even on the right as well, plus through the middle. I'm a huge fan of him, can't help but feel with the right direction and in the right environment he could do really well. Broadhead needs to have a word with him. | |

I agree, very versatile.
In fact, he's a very similar player to Broadhead. Stocky but skilful. Would be a great option to have as back-up for Broady or even alongside him to unlock stubborn defences at home. | | | |
