Usual rule of thumb for me on Phil's posts is is he quickly shuts down rumours which are wide of the mark, unless he feels they are so ridiculous he doesn't need to bother. Keep them rumbling without comment, and he's either aware there may be substance to them but cannot get confirmation from the club, or has been asked not to publish anything until a certain time.
