About the new season, not generally.
This time last year, I was really nervous, the anticipation was palpable, on here in particular.
I think that was because we HAD to get out of that league and was our best chance since relegation.
This year, I've no idea what's going to happen, except I know that we aren't at risk of relegation, and what will be will be.
However, if you ask me again at 5pm on the 6th, I might say something different. |  |

Yeah, we had more to lose last season, promotion isn't an easy thing to deliver in terms of the level of consistency needed to tick along at 2.1ppg or whatever it is.
Not that we're in 'free hit' territory but we're back at a level that's probably par for the club, excellent young manager, hungry and engaged squad. There isn't really a huge amount of pressure unless we find ourselves in a relegation battle...which I can't see happening. |  | | |

Confident in management and club. We are in a great place with a framework to succeed in the medium to long term.

Think the pressure and expectation isn't there. When we get 100 points, 100 goals it'll be an unexpected achievement whereas in League 1 with our squad there was always the prospect of us smashing it. | |

I'm feeling pretty confident, that if we play well, we can be a problem, on any given day, to any team in the division. Consistency will be more difficult this season. And , of course, as with everyone else, a bit of luck with injuries is usually key to any teams success..
I want us to be a top 8 side knocking on the door of the play offs. Which would put us in stronger position, imo, next window/s to attract the level of players we'll need to push for promotion, and survive in the division above.

Im more confident now having had the luxury to see the type of business we are doing and the positions we are targeting. You always need luck on injuries. There are many unknowns in how coaches and players and wider squad will step up and adapt but we are looking in good shape. | |

Seriously, really don't know, but have faith in the ownets, executives, management, coaches and players to give it a good go.
More concerned at home I improve my "fan rating" within the membership scheme when currently 5th tier of preference.

Right now, uncertain. I think we will more than hold our own against many of the clubs in the division, but don’t think we’ve done enough in the transfer market to be competing at the top end. I’m quite disappointed with the transfer business so far. |  |

I think we’re in a happy place as a club. No real expectation or worries this year - it’s such an unknown quantity and I’m just happy to let it unfold.
That is until we get some early game markers which show us what level were at. If we sit top 6 after 10 games then my hope/expectation levels will go up and Saturday nerves will kick in again. |  |

Who we have signed or the amount? Were you expecting an overhaul? 19 new players?
What is there to be disappointed with?

0 expectations this season so one just to sit back and enjoy. Don't fear any relegation issues. Quite the opposite. But not a season where I'm expecting any thing competitive. Top 6 would be a bonus obviously. |  |

How is it looking like a closing day signing? Theres still 6 weeks of the window to go.
The club don't publicise who we are going after anymore, so it wouldn't surprise me if we were already in discussions with someone.
