Agreed, it has felt that way. I’ve no doubt the price of anyone we are after will now get ramped up. It’s what I would do if I was the selling club.
I think it’s important that we stick to whatever plan we might have had and not go into late window Evans-style panic mode. The way we’ve gone about things in the past couple of seasons has served us well. I see no need to change that.
The most important thing is that Hirst is looked after and makes a full recovery. I’m sure he will be and will, even if we lose him for the rest of the season. |  | | |

People seem to have forgotten that we also have 18 year old Gerrard Buabo, who looked very good in the few minutes he played on Friday. Returning from injury so will need building up, but may well be able to help us out as the season goes on. |  |
