Honestly couldn't choose. Dammit, I may need to watch them all again to come up with an answer.
The trouble was, that each favourite was getting usurped by another game pretty damn quickly. The Barnsley game there coming hot off the heels of Peterborough, which in itself was game of the season material and doesn't get nearly as many mentions.
As for last season, Southampton will always be at the forefront of my mind, as will Hull away. Yeah, ok we didn't win but feck me, that was some game and atmosphere.

I know what you mean
Southampton home last season Hull & Coventry away
Bolton, Derby Peterborough away the season before
and Charlton home that year
Rotherham and Bristol City home last season when we were oh so lucky!!
Keno, Jim from TWTV here on the TWTV group account, having just gone back through last season's games with Marcus Parrot when reviewing his illustrated season review, the memory banks have been firmly jogged!
And its very hard to pick out a favourite - some games I'd kinda forgotten how good they were:
Saints (a) - Omari stained glass window illustration, Kallum overview, felt we'd arrived Hull (h) - A very sad Tigger, total McKenna ball Preston (h) - Williams wunder run, a game of pure entertainment Coventry (h) - Trivela spin, Ed overview, millions of global views of that goal Watford (a) - Egyptian king, Chaplow ver 2.0 Saints (h) - Jeremy Munch Scream, ITFCJoe overview, roof blown off PR Coventry (a) - Waka Waka, ad_wilkin overview, nail biting but excellent performance
But I'd have to go Saints (h) due to the electric atmosphere at the end, and Chappers running across the pitch.
Whole Story of the Season vid is below.
As for 22/23 - I'd actually go Peterborough away, something about the away end and the player performance that day.

….tends to get forgotten from the 1st promotion season, mainly due to what followed, but it was a great day all round.
Good call Jim.

That Hull game with the Chappers goal and then the Trivela one oh my havent we treated to some special moments!!
But first i have say that despite being a town fan since 1977 the past two seasons (22 to 24) were the best 2 consecutive seasons I've seen. They just eclipse 99 to 01 (mainly because I was working overseas during that second season)
And as I said to another Town fan in the garden of the Antwerp Arms last Sunday, the last 2 seasons have been largely one high after another. So much so that this season's start hasn't felt as though as it should.
Anyway
So many to choose from, but I can only choose one, so it will be one where I was in attendance. There's not even a need to name the opposition
SARMIENTO 90+7
The drama, the quality of opposition, the sound, the bruised ribs, that video of fans leaving the stadium.
Just in case there's anyone not got it, which is highly unlikely
I wasn’t at the games but the away crowds looked and still look something else. Like nothing I’ve seen before in respect of league games. Just watching them go ballistic is epic, esp at Barnsley and Coventry last season.
For me the Southampton game is obviously the standout last year for the ending. Utterly mental. But for sheer moment, that first goal v Huddersfield. It was over. We’d done it. The ground exploded and the full range of emotions went right through me right there right then like water down a drain. I never thought I’d see it again in my lifetime.
It brought back memories or Reuser one evening against Bolton and again at Wembley, John Wark at Highbury and Roger at Wembley. Sheer raw emotion.

Derby away also very underrated. One of my favourites.
It feels like each game got pushed back in the memory as the next one was more pivotal, but Id also put Bolton in there too. It was the first of those big away games in the run-in that fans of other clubs thought were going to trip us up (Bolton, Barnsley, Derby, then later at Peterborough). And I think in truth, at that point in March, we werent quite sure how good the team was either. That fast break away from Burns and brilliant finish from Hirst set a tone for future goals and then when Bolton applied pressure, we stood up to them, saved a penalty and then went and got the second and saw the game out comfortably. Remember leaving the stadium thinking we had made a real statement that day and then we just kept making them after that. Bolton were unbeaten at home for months up to that point too and likely thought they had every chance of catching us up.

1. Coventry 2. Hull/Tottenham (can’t choose between them) 3. Peterborough
All 4 cracking away days with copious amounts of alcohol drank at them all.
These truly are the days.
Was listening to Brenner clips last night and his bit at the end of Coventry really got me. When he boldly states “Town are one game away from promotion. It does not matter what happens in the Leeds Southampton game, if Town avoid defeat they will be promoted, it’s as simple as that “
That and KM’s smile at the end was the ultimate “we’ve done it” moment.
There is plenty of choice here but I think that Barnsley game still wins because that was the moment we knew were going to do it, that 21 years of (mostly) failure and underachievement were coming to an end. Hirst’s goal the single moment.
1. Barnsley (a) 2. Southampton (h) Easter weekend was the point when I really thought we could definitely finish top two. 3. Coventry (a) that season’s Barnsley. 4. Spurs (a) yes, recency bias but we had been growing over the previous matches and really needed the confidence of a win. 5 . Hull (a) had we won this one would be higher, but what a good day that was and a great match shared with mainly friendly home fans. At 5pm after several drinks there was still three hours to kick off - no wonder it was loud.

I was thinking about it and I thought about the obvious answers like Southampton, Barnsley and even Huddersfield on the final day but my favourite game of the last three season is Tottenham away from last week.
First win on the board, played like we had been for the past two seasons, first PL win for a long old time and stuck it to those over-expectant spurs fans.
Still smiling.

Was also just thinking of the Exeter home game too- even though Barnsley had set it all up, there was still that massive anxiety that it could still fall apart (and a draw that day would have definitely made that a lot worse). Trusting the team to do it, but knowing that the ghosts of Lincoln, Cheltenham, the late goals etc. Remember even thinking after about 5 mins, this is going to be horrible if we have to wait a long time for the first goal (or if Exeter score). And within about 15 mins, we were 3-0 up and there was absolutely zero chance and 5-0 before even 30 mins had been played. The thought that there had been any doubt about that team at all, long gone, the reminder that they just were never going to let it go.

Privileged to have been at all the games mentioned so far in this thread (bar Bolton away). Impossible choice really. All were epic in their own right. If I had to choose one, it'd probably be Barnsley away, simply because it was such a great away end - and Town fans made the most if it!

Loved Peterborough away as I was sat at 90⁰ to the Town support in the home end and I thoroughly enjoyed keeping my head down and watching the Blue Army put in an absolute stunning performance..... the team were quite good that day too!
