This season it's entirely possible to fit 3 or 4 more matches in, keep building a winning feeling (that was so important in previous successful seasons), and maybe just maybe shoot for the stars: we'd all remember a Wembley visit and love to stay in the PL. I totally get the need to prioritise the league but we have a 27 man squad for a reason. They need minutes and this is great opportunity to build fitness throughout the squad.
Let's hope we win, get drawn against another lower league outfit, win again and then we are talking about being involved in the 5th round in March and thats a possible dilemma re exposing first team players.

Cups are a good chance to get injured players up to speed and bed in new signings.
