I don't think it's just about the fees. If we were to sign him on a 3-4 year deal and something goes wrong and we don't get promoted then his wages potentially become an issue. The 'loan with an obligation' gives a bit more insurance on that than a purchase IMO. | |

Loan is ideal. The more the merrier. If they like us and we like them then we more on from there. If they are not suitable to our system then the gamble is not going to stifle us for years. Nothing wrong with loans now we are in this position. We just need to move ourselves into contention come January window. They we can play our big cards. |  | | |

Id prefer a loan here, not completely sold on him so a loan gives us a chance to take a look.
Only minor issue is I believe this takes us up to the max for teamsheet (5 loans), given we need another striker, left back and potentially an Omari replacement we may end up with more than 5.
Is it worth trying to turn one of the cheaper loans into a permanent? i.e Kirpe? | |

Not sure what people's issue with Loans are?
He's apparently on £45k, which he isn't going to move for less. We'd probably have to give him a 3 year contract (or more). We don't want that financial burden if the player ends up not good enough, and/or we don't get promoted soon. | | | |
