How nice would it be to go along to PR tomorrow knowing a win puts us 2nd and still with a game in hand?
My head says Boro are stronger and they've travelled pretty well lately Cov aside, but Brum's home form is very impressive. They've only lost 1 game there all season (and none last season IIRC). Recently beaten Cov, drawn with Saints and Leeds, and know they probably really need a result tonight to maintain a playoff push. Not an easy game under the lights for Boro, would be a big statement if they do it.

I'm less sold on Boro than many people seem to be. Think they look a pretty functional outfit with one outstanding player in midfield that elevates them about 5th/6th place kind of quality. Tonight will be a test for them after a couple of poor results, be good to see Brum get a win but would also take a draw. Brum are hard to beat and Boro don't seem to be massively creative, they've done better against sides who come on to them a bit more. |  |

I think Boro have got a lot of quality beyond Hackney. McGree, Whittaker, Morris, Browne all very good players. They're not in brilliant form though, so hopefully that can continue. On paper they've got a pretty nice set of fixtures until we meet, so hopefully they can drop some points in games like tonight. | | | |

Depends on which version of Birmingham turn up. I can see them giving Boro a lot of trouble or just rolling over - but their home form is their strength so fingers crossed they’ll win or at least hold Boro to a draw. |  | | |
