In chat earlier, folk were talking about Cardiff wanting Huws back...but I was going to say, we've shown faith in him and he's settled in quickly so wouldn't be surprised if he'd want a permanent move. Here's to hoping as he looks a good fit and one who's yet to reach his prime.
1) The fee. He isn't going to be cheap. Warnock might not want him but he also won't want to help out a rival who can get Huws playing well by selling him on the cheap. I expect this will be one we 'try' to make work before it is quietly forgotten about.
2) His wages. He took a pay cut. Is he prepared to do that over a 2-3 year deal?

Warnock has said he isn't part of his plans, so doubt it

Your second point depends on Huws himself. Does he just want to collect his wages at Cardiff or does he want to see what he can achieve in his career by playing regularly, but for less money? This seems a common problem for a lot of young players this day and age. As The Specials said: 'Too much, too young!'

Warnock has already said Huws is surplus to requirements at Cardiff so I'm sure they'll just be happy to send him on his way. The question is if another side comes in with a bigger offer than ourselves.
And the same counts for his wages really. To say he's happy to come here considering he had to take a cut originally shows he values playing football above the cash. But if someone else comes in...
What you also need to factor in, is that players play much better when they are looking for a contract. You need to look at what he was like for his previous club when IN contract.
I started a rousing chorus of sign him up when he came past the north stand at the end of the game, pretty sure that's been an influence on him wanting to stay. You can all thank me later.
