That's not specifically correct. The UK is part of the procurement agreement until Dec 2020, we joined in 2014. The EU had no choice but to include us. It was silly not to take part though as you say. SB

You appear to have spelt 'criminally irresponsible' incorrectly there.

Has the time come to scrap Brexit? on 12:02 - Apr 6 with 1899 views | britbiker | Will be interesting to see how the larger EU countries cope when some of the smaller ones ask for funding to rebuild their ecomonies. Agree though that cant see brexit being a priority whilst all this is going on. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

| And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show |

| Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me.
Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing.
Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial.
Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid.
Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.

Has the time come to scrap Brexit? on 13:24 - Apr 6 with 1654 views | ElephantintheRoom | Quite the opposite. One of the biggest problems facing the Tory clique who pushed through Brexit is that once it happened our economy would nosedive further, the currency would devalue more and the country would be worse off for decades to come. All these things would become immediately obvious, even to the cretins who voted for Brexit. Difficult to sell as a bonus - especially if, as seems likely it is accompanied by food shortages. Now the nosedive in the economy and our standard of living pales into insignificance compred to what a virus has managed to do. We've even experienced self-inflicted food shortages. There will never be a better time to 'get brexit done'

European unity is very important but I cannot share your placement of it over World peace, adaptation to climate change or the quest to place gender and race on an equal footing.

Has the time come to scrap Brexit? on 14:08 - Apr 6 with 1543 views | MattinLondon | You would think so but most Brexit types are so driven by dogma that they cannot allow Brexit to be delayed. Even if it means the country suffering more and more. Anyway here’s to blue passports...which we weren’t forced to scrap in the first place.

Ex Brexit Sec David Davis said a couple of weeks ago that the COVID-19 problems will be helpful, as the economic shock from Brexit next year will be minor in comparison. So a few tens of thousands of deaths are worth it, are they? Hmm.
