Wow, Parrott would be some signing for a L1 club! 12:32 - Feb 1 with 3025 views | Wallingford_Boy | Of course, I expect full blown negativity on this, as everything else, but he is VERY highly rated! Harry Kane type is what Spurs fans are saying, plus he's been playing in the Championship this season, so dropping down a division is quite a surprise. Lets hope we get this one over the line.

Wow, Parrott would be some signing for a L1 club! on 12:36 - Feb 1 with 2522 views | alfie2002 | I do agree, he along with Oliver skipp on loan up the road are the next crop of the spurs players with proper quality and are in very high regard, believe there are a few championship teams interested in taking him but I think we might be more attractive with the prospect of more game time.
Wow, Parrott would be some signing for a L1 club! on 12:36 - Feb 1 with 2522 views | SitfcB | Tbf haven’t seen any negativity about him just the fact it’s another loan whilst we may be shipping out one of our own players.

Wow, Parrott would be some signing for a L1 club! on 12:36 - Feb 1 with 2516 views | homer_123 | He's struggled to get game time at Milwall though. That said - on paper a very decent signing indeed. Not quite the Dos Santos level but could be very decent. Depending on how we use him and if we can create for him.

Wow, Parrott would be some signing for a L1 club! on 12:40 - Feb 1 with 2466 views | King_of_Portman_Rd | I would say this is in keeping a lot of our loan signings of late.. probably a year too soon in his development to be able to make a consistent positive impact week in week out for us. I’m sure he’ll have a bright future and if we sign him he’ll do alright for us, but I can’t see him being a standout player that drags the team forward in the way Fraser and Lawrence did in their loan spells, he’ll probably do that for a different L1 side next season after he’s got some experience with us

And crucially, we have the worst manager in our history in charge still.

Wow, Parrott would be some signing for a L1 club! on 12:42 - Feb 1 with 2427 views | Bobbychase | Agreed. Getting a bit tired of the "what about our own young players" stuff doing the rounds today. If they had taken their chances we wouldn't be slipping down the table. If he's better than what we have, get him in.

Not against it if they are a significant upgrade on what we have, but it's a bit annoying when we have McGuiness keeping Wolfenden out, for example. [Post edited 1 Feb 2021 12:44]

It's alright if they are better but I'm far from convinced Bennetts/McGuinness are at the moment. Parrott/Thomas with it still to prove.

Couldn’t agree more, only one to hold their own was Mcgavin.

They’re not better, though. This is not Fraser/Lawrence/Celina territory. We’re getting championship reserves or “big club” never-will-bes

Wow, Parrott would be some signing for a L1 club! on 12:46 - Feb 1 with 2342 views | BlueBadger | I'm not sure that a struggling third division club with an incompetent coach playing a dysfunctional system will be what his confidence needs at this point in the season and his career. Similarly, what we really don't need at the moment is to be pinning all our scoring hopes on a near-totally green 18 year old scoring goals. [Post edited 1 Feb 2021 12:51]

Woolfenden has been truly abysmal this season

I don't think he's done that well this season either, but I also don't think McGuniness is a massive step on him. So if we were going to play one or the other, I'd rather it was Wolfenden.

That's the problem with being in League 1 - ou get players on their first loan, not their second. Usually in the Championship you get players with games under their belts

There's not many of our youngsters who have had opportunities that have let us down I think Parrott a different beast, he's a full Irish international - but when looking at someone like Will Swan ahead of Zak Brown or Tyreese Simpson then I echo and understand the frustrations

Usual suspects on here saying "but he hasn't scored" and "he is preventing our own players progressing"..... Parrott in, Jackson out.. yes, yes and YES.

He is still a kid. He won't do anything in this league. Will just get bullied by the thug defenders all clubs have at this level, well, except us. Evans you muppet.

Not really seen any negativity today but I'm not qualified to contradict the opinion our manager has on this: “The football club, it’s gone down the route of a lot of loans, some loans come in and all of a sudden they go away at the end of the season and the next ones come in. “You can’t keep doing that, you have to have your own team of players here and maybe one or two loans, I get that, but not an influx, it’s very difficult to sustain that."
