If you could sign anyone who we saw this season in league one who would you take?

It would be Twine from Swindon or perhaps Wyke of Sunderland for me.

Poll: Apologies I'm bored. How many signings will we have by Plymouth at home.

I’d take Wes Burns from Fleetwood in a heartbeat....and he’s out of contract.

Jorge Grant or Charlie Kirk.

Was looking down the list for chances created on Whoscored and one name that surprised me was Zain Westbrooke at Bristol Rovers. He's the 5th most creative player in the division?!

My hunch on Twine is that he's not got much to his game at the moment, beyond that long shot.

I live in Swindon and Scott Twine was out watching Sunday morning football a few weeks back. Had a chat with him and (what I assume was his Dad). Really nice kid, a lot slighter than I had realised.

I did mention that he should sign for Town and he was very polite and just said 'I've got some things to think about in the summer.' I tried to dig to see if he knew of any interest from another clubs but again he was just polite and changed the subject to the game we were watching.

Above all else it was just nice to see him out and about and obviously has a real love for football and was out supporting some mates of his kicking lumps out of another team on a Sunday Morning

Charlie Kirk.

Twine hit a worldie but his overall game didn't impress that much I have to say.

He's not out of contract. Fleetwood had a 1 year option on him and they've exercised it.

I agree I would really like him here though.

His general numbers aren't great even compared to our midfielders.

He's played as a 10, but creates only 0.7 chances per game - a lot less than Dozzell (1.3), a little more than Downes (0.6).

Doesn't get that involved in the play - averages 25 passes per game to Dozzell 44.8, Downes 38.5. Completes slightly fewer than both (79.7% to Dozz 80.6% and Downes 86.8%).

Defensive contribution is negligible - 1.5 interceptions and tackles per game (v. 3.8 for Downes and 3.2 for Dozz).

He shoots a lot, way more than anyone currently at the club - 3.2 per game, compared to our most active, Norwood at 2.0. It's four times as often as our highest ranked midfielder - Bishop - at 0.8 per game. In fact, no other midfielder in League One took pot shots more regularly, Szmodics at 2.6 per game was the closest.

Don't get the impression he's the type of player Cook is looking for at all.

No no no. Dont want him here. I seem to remember another video of him circulating last year. Seems a bad egg and way to big for his boots.

Honestly I'd look at taking Camp, ideal back up GK. Reliable if called on, won't expect to start, brings huge experience for the younger keepers to learn from.

Not game changing but brings value for money.

Ollie Rathbone, Rochdale all day long, great energy with a bit of quality too.

If I could sign one player it would be Sam Morsy.

John Bostock at Doncaster was the best player I saw all season.

Bossed the game.

Went onto Doncaster forum to look at the fan reviews on Tom Anderson.

They were talking about John Bostock and by all accounts he has been hit and miss for them. In and out of games, shows flashes of brilliance but very inconsistent.

Like most players in league one tbf.

But Tom Anderson is also a tidy player. Shocked that Doncaster did so badly losing Moore must’ve really hurt.
