Is it going to have a chapter on the Underground?

Or that time, back in Steve Sedgleys day, when an unnamed player shat on the changing room floor?

I hope we become a bit self indulgent and have an #itfc museum.

Sounds a bit cringe and an admittance that no one under 30 has a clue who we are. Not a massive fan.

I dont care if the players have any clue about our history but i do care that they're good enough to improve our future. Learning our history isn't important for that

Picture book, or are we upping our targets beyond that now?

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

Would be good if true. I thought they were being given a copy of a book about a fan's experiences. Some years old, and written by someone who, until recently, had stopped being a fan.

Academy players do now get a Town history and quiz as part of their off-field work though!

Is there a chapter or 3 on 'worst town managers in the Marcus Evans era' ?

All players should have to watch the play-off video, to see what real passion for ITFC should be!

Johnson didn't say this, referring to Adventures of a Tractor Boy.
He said that, " It should be required reading to all current and future players for Ipswich"

No one has said that they are actually going to give it to players and then give them a test on the Friday.

The reason I think this is brilliant is you hear from the likes of Mowbray. Stewart etc how they always felt part of the club from the start but most importantly they knew what they were representing which isnt just putting on your boots and playing football.
Something I feel has been lost for many years.

We are Ipswich town and it doesnt matter how many years ago our successes were. The club was always built on reach for the skys. Putting your body on the line and playing without fear.

The recent history shows a squad of players each season just trotting out for themselves with no real connection to the ethos that had been installed into ITFC.

Apologies, but having sat through 2 seasons of a manager I was abundantly clear id had enough of upon relegation from the Championship to now having watched us get even worse under Cook and then getting abuse for pointing out maybe its not ALL the players fault and maybe some of them do care etc its hard to be too positive on here right now.
