Don’t hate them. On a footballing level, I am one step away from that. Love the Scots, but never, ever want their football team to win. Never. Ever. Same with Wales and both Irish teams. And any other team that’s not England. Childish, I know. Should know better at my age, agreed. Petty, almost definitely. But that’s the way I feel. Not got anything against Scotland as a place, nor it's people. Some beautiful scenery, lovely towns and countryside, some severe depravation in parts too. Same with Wales, generally the people I know from there are lovely. I do find the rather weird, over zealous nationalistic element to sport in both countries to be more than a bit tragic, especially the anti English sentiment. I'm all for people getting behind their country, but I find a nation that historically has had to resort to supporting whoever England are playing is about the most tin pot thing I can imagine to be honest. I appreciate they have a smaller population, and an evident inferiority complex, but I genuinely don't give a sh1t how they do. |  |

It's like old boy Keith who I used to have a pint with in The Brickes, he would always want Norwich to win because it was good for the region - or so he said.
As much as I actually like the Scots I am inclined to think - sod them, and the sooner they fast track complete independence the better.
