If he is a Kosovar Albanian Muslim, then they retained their links with the Ottomans as long as possible during the break-up of the European part of that Empire (1870s to 1913). Tho in the decades since, Kosovans looked more to Albania than Turkey. No idea what, if any, cultural links or sentimental affinities remain towards the latter. |  |

Indeed. Theres been a few occasions of players under Ashton who have had also played for Dijon too. Diony for example only a few years ago. | |
